The Bonded Seal consists of a metal washer of rectangular section, which has bonded to its inside diameter a vulcanized, trapezoidal shaped ring of rubber. Both the washer material and the rubber compound can be selected to suit a given application. The seal provides superior sealing under pressure. The washer resists the bursting forces and limits the rubber deformation. All size ranges and material combinations are available. This same basic concept can be used to produce customised shapes for specific applications in any of the combinations of rubber to metal or plastic bonding.
